On Saturday, June 10th the airport held it’s triennial emergency response drill. From all of us at SUN, we want to pass along a huge thank you to all the volunteers who braved the cold temps and possible dousing by the airport ARFF vehicle. The participation by our 45 “victims” was tremendous, and really helped make the drill more realistic for our emergency responders. We would also like to thank the emergency response partners including Hailey Fire Department, Wood River Fire and Rescue, and Bellevue Fire Department. You all really showed your stuff and took the exercise as a critical moment. Last but not least, thanks to the numerous other support volunteers and Airport staff for the hard work and effort in planning and executing the event!
