SUN Airport Art Committee Seeks Artwork for Six-Month ‘SUN Art’ Exhibition

The SUN Airport Art Committee (SAAC) is inviting artists to submit two-dimensional artwork for our next exhibition in the airport’s public spaces. The exhibition will feature 30 or more works of art on display from November 14th– May 14th. An independent jury of representatives of the airport, the Hailey, Ketchum and Bellevue Arts Commissions, and area galleries, as well as local arts advocates will select the artwork. The upcoming show will be the eighth SUN Art exhibit installed in the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN).

The project is open to artists residing in Blaine County Idaho as well as all artists who create artwork inspired by Idaho. There is no fee to apply, nor will an honorarium be awarded. The application opens September 4, 2019 deadline to submit an application is October 11, 2019.

An Artist Reception is scheduled for Thursday, November 21st.
