Friedman Memorial Airport Authority
Seeks Independent Board Member

One June 1, 1994, Blaine County and the City of Hailey entered into a Joint Powers Agreement (Amended 2021) establishing the Friedman Memorial Airport Authority (FMAA), which is a public entity of the State of Idaho. The Authority is governed by the Board, consisting of seven members. Three members are appointed by Blaine County, three members are appointed by the City of Hailey, and one, designated as the “Independent Member”, is appointed by a vote of the other appointees.

The current “Independent Member” appointment will expire on December 31, 2024. FMAA is seeking interested persons for a two-year term commencing January 1, 2025.
