The Hailey Memorial Day ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 31 from 11-12 p.m. at the Hailey Memorial Cemetery. The graves of 420 fallen soldiers will be decorated along with a memorial wreath being placed on the Blaine County Veterans monument, located at the Hailey Memorial Cemetery. A little further south of the Valley, The Nature Conservancy’s world-renowned Silver Creek Preserve is ready for the May 29 opening day of fishing season (fly rods only). The visitor center is closed for construction until spring 2022. Recreationists are reminded to practice social distancing and encouraged to visit  Silver Creek Preserve for more information.
