Request for Proposals/General Aviation Development 

Friedman Memorial Airport (KSUN)

On September 14, 2023, Friedman Memorial Airport Authority (“FMAA”) issued a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Respondents to lease, develop, and operate general aviation aeronautical facilities at KSUN. Deadline for submittal was 6:00 PM MDT, January 31, 2024. FMAA received four proposals and determined that three submissions would be considered as finalists. Respondents were invited to interview April 25, 2024. The Committee presented its final scoring and recommendation to FMAA June 4, 2025. FMAA chose to accept the recommendation of the Committee and enter lease negotiations with Clay Lacy Aviation on July 2, 2024.
