The upcoming term is held for two years. Â
The board elected (as required by the amended by-laws) its Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer by majority vote of the members during the regular board meeting.
New Chairman Don Keirn, pictured left, has been serving as a Board Member on the Friedman Memorial Airport Authority since August 4, 2011 and has been serving on the Hailey City Council since January 1, 2001 of which he is currently President of. Don has also been recently appointed to the Fly Sun Valley Alliance executive board. His wealth of knowledge will serve the FMAA well. Welcome.
“FMA faces some substantial financial and physical challenges over the next several years. As Chairman it is my intention that the Board and FMA Staff will meet these challenges, keeping FMA on a safe and financially strong footing,” states Don.
The Friedman Memorial Airport, while jointly owned by the City of Hailey and Blaine County is an Enterprise Fund*Â financed facility. Friedman Memorial Airport receives no State, County, or City operating funds. Our sustains itself from Government (Primarily FAA) Grants and income generated from aircraft and related operations.Â
The new officers are:

Treasurer – Ron Fairfax
