We are aware of the challenges that some of you may have encountered this summer with the screening process and long wait times. Our mornings have been extremely busy with three (3) early flights taking off, that means a large influx of people in the airport in a short amount of time. With the heavy flight demand, we continue to strongly encourage passengers to arrive at the airport least an hour and a half to two hours prior to your flight.
Beginning August 30th, you will notice a bit of a change with the process. The TSA, airlines, and airport, will be implementing procedures to prioritize passengers based on flight schedule. What that means is, we will be working together to prioritize you in the TSA line based on earliest to later flights. So… Salt Lake (Delta) at 7:00 am, Denver (United) at 7:15 am, and San Francisco (United) at 8:20 am.
We’re working closely with airlines and TSA to help you with a positive travel experience. Again, PLEASE arrive at the airport at least an hour and a half to two hours prior to your flight! Your early arrival will be a huge part in improving the process.
We will continue to work closely in a combined effort to make additional improvements.
Thank you!
